Real performance data
Lighthouse scores and a carbon rating are published with every delivery. Not a vague claim, actual numbers from your actual site.
Every tier, every price, every detail - published upfront. If something isn't right for your budget, you'll know in two minutes. If it is, you'll know exactly what you're getting.
All projects are built with Astro + Sanity CMS, hosted on Cloudflare, and delivered with Lighthouse scores and carbon ratings published. WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility is the minimum standard on every build, not an add-on.
Three build tiers depending on what your site needs to do. Strategy, design, copy direction, and SEO setup are included in all three. The difference is the scale and complexity of the build.
For small businesses who need a site that works hard without the complexity. Static, fast, and built to last.
For businesses that publish regularly and want to attract organic traffic over time. Everything in Brochure, plus a full content system.
Everything in brochure, plus:
A headless Shopify storefront - Astro's static power, Sanity's content freedom, Shopify's commerce backbone. Faster and lower-carbon than any standard Shopify theme.

These aren't extras or premium add-ons. Every Joontide build, from the smallest brochure site upwards, ships with all of these as standard.
Lighthouse scores and a carbon rating are published with every delivery. Not a vague claim, actual numbers from your actual site.
A high standard of web accessibility. If your brand is committed to inclusion, your website needs to be too.
The person you speak to in the intro call is the person writing every line of code. No handoffs, no miscommunication, no surprises.
Static-first architecture on Astro, content managed through Sanity. Built to be fast, lightweight, and maintainable for years - not just on launch day.
No hidden extras. These are the things you'll need to budget for separately, listed here so nothing catches you off guard.
Typically £10–20/year. You register and own this. I'll point it where it needs to go.
Sanity (free tier is generous), Newletters, CRM, and Shopify plans are paid separately. I'll recommend the right tier for your setup.
Images need to come from you. I work with what you supply or can recommend stock sources that fit the brand.
I set up the technical SEO foundations (schema, metadata, sitemap) but ongoing keyword strategy and content production is outside scope.
A sustainable, performance-first website built by Joontide starts from £3,000 for a brochure site. Content-driven sites start from £5,000 and ecommerce starts from £8,000. These aren't ballpark estimates, what you see on this page is what you pay. Costs vary within each tier based on the number of pages and any custom functionality required.
Almost always, yes - but that's not the main reason to work with a freelancer. The bigger advantage is that you deal with one person who does everything: strategy, build, and delivery. No handoffs, no account managers, no "let me check with the team." For a values-led brand that has been burned by agencies before, that directness is often worth more than the cost difference alone.
The main variables are: number of pages, whether you need a blog or content system, whether ecommerce is involved, and any custom integrations. Starting prices assume standard page counts, every project is scoped before any contracts are signed, so you'll know the full number before committing.
WCAG 2.2 AA is a legal level of web accessibility compliance, ensuring your site works for users with visual, motor, cognitive, and auditory differences. If your brand claims to be inclusive, your website needs to back that up. Legally, AA is the standard required in the UK, but AAA is where ethical brands should be aiming.
Most projects take 4–16 weeks from signed contract to launch. The longest part is usually content gathering on the client side. If you come with copy and images ready, timelines shorten significantly.
It depends on how often you update your site. If your content changes regularly or you plan to grow the site post-launch, a plan makes sense. If your site is largely static and you're happy editing it yourself in Sanity, you can go without. There's no pressure to take a plan but when things need updating, you'll want someone who knows the codebase.
Book a free 30-minute intro call. No pitch, no pressure, just a conversation about what you're building, what's not working, and whether Joontide is the right fit. You'll come away with a clear picture of what the project looks like and what it costs.
